The Town Planning of the City of Lorca, Francisco Garcia, has introduced a new service that allows all citizens to obtain documents and information more common in urban planning in a more dynamic and fast.
This is the launch of the "Office Building Security," a service which, as explained by Francisco García himself, "is another step in our goal to provide transparency and expedite the necessary urban.
Since this government team began lobbying the City Council were aware that the public perceived the Planning Department as a slow administration in the conduct of proceedings and where information was not always possible to obtain an affordable way, so we set working on the implementation of solutions.

260 consultations in the testing phase

The intention to set up the Office of Information, is to avoid the typical routine information offices.
This new instrument is born with a vocation to serve the public and professionals who come to the Planning Department, making managers work the query or procedure to be brought to the attention of the Office.
On the other hand it should mean that the assembly of this new office has been without personal cost, since it is staffed by two employees that were previously dedicated to other tasks in the Planning Department itself.
In addition is a new step in the quest to provide a citizen service quality, flexible and effective, a tool in the package we have designed to facilitate professionals in particular and citizens in general, all urban information generated by the city of Lorca, with her web page, the introduction of electronic filing of records, the new system of computerized records management and internal restructuring, are the other pillars on which we lay this process administrative modernization that we have implemented.
More flexibility in citizen services
Francisco Garcia has explained that the new Urban Information Office provides general advice and guidance to citizens, as well as receiving free of all models for any management application.
Thus, all citizens can obtain:

- Explanation of procedure for the application of any license, consultation process, etc.
