Job The mayor of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra has done this morning a visit to the districts of the city, to see the improvements made in different places for the young unemployed who are part of the program "You and your neighborhood."
This is a project of socio-labor takes place in areas including the Urban Initiative Barrios Altos, through a training process of socially disadvantaged people through the training of instructors and technicians seeking to improve their skills.
The visit is taking place in the Parque del Calvario, noting the improvements made, and then continue until the restoration of the stairs to the chapel of St. Lazarus, which was conditioned on the path to Cejo Lovers', and from that area Atrium has come to the Church of San Pedro, where they have painted and embellishing different areas.
Ibarra stated that "the program has the acceptance of young people who have taken it as their own, seeking the participation of all sectors of the neighborhood, with a view to resolving problems, improving conditions, while the increase being sought the possibilities of social integration. "
A total of 24 young people aged between 18 and 25 years who are receiving a scholarship training to perform "You and your neighborhood, with industrial action, painting and urban maintenance, with a stipend of 300 euros month, this amount being reduced in the unlikely event of unexcused absences.
This social program for employment and is framed within the Urban Community Initiative, financed by the ERDF of the European Union and the city of Lorca, complementing other programs for youth and children of different ages as PAIDOS.
