The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, opened this morning at the Institute Giner Ros the exhibition "A Walk in the Cosmos", which will visit more than thousand students.
Jódar stressed the importance of this show "because it is sponsored by the European Space Agency through its division Hubble Space Telescope."
In this study, students and teachers can enjoy images of different objects that make up the Cosmos star, thanks to a collection of images from the Hubble Space said, in which the viewer can admire the beauty of nebulae, galaxies, stars, ...
The exhibition is open to the general public in this facility for three weeks, but aims to become the next school year traveling to other schools in the municipality.
The show also has two areas dedicated to the vision that both the world of cinema as the literature have been designed on the Cosmos.
For its part, the institute's director, Francisco González, stressed that "this is an exciting opportunity for students to acquire some important insights into the spatial world, through the most appropriate body for this, as is the Space Agency European. "
