So far, 70 workers of the Municipality of Lorca join the public sector strike against cuts in Central Government (08/06/2010)

40 municipal employees are meeting the minimum service in the day today in which unions are protesting against wage cuts and welfare cuts taxes by the Socialist government of Zapatero.

Personal Councilman of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, reported this morning that "as far this time, 70 of the 573 municipal workers have reported to the Consistory who joined the strike in public sector unions against wage cuts and social taxes by the Socialist government of Zapatero. "

Peñarrubia explained that "within these data should be borne in mind that 40 municipal workers were covering the minimum services."
