The rains of recent days showed the existence of leaks, just one year after the inauguration of the new pavilion, which shows the poor execution of the works, as already denounced the PSOE in early 2017. The Socialists ask the Mayor who is able to raise their voices before their heads of Murcia, do not settle and require the Autonomous Community to fix these deficiencies
The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos has denounced the appearance of leaks in the new sports pavilion of the IES Ros Giner and Ibáñez Martín.
The Lorca socialists are calling for measures to repair this "serious flaw", since the water that seeps every time it rains makes it difficult to practice sports, due to the large amount of puddles that are generated on the floor of the pavilion.
The rains of recent days once again show the existence of these water leaks, which shows the poor execution, as in many others, of the construction works of this pavilion, inaugurated just a year ago.
The mayor says it is "shameful" that in a recent creation, and had a budget that touched the million euros, appear similar deficiencies.
Already at the beginning of 2017, the PSOE warned of important deficiencies in the newly opened pavilion.
Since then, Mazuecos regrets, it is the educational community that suffers the consequences of this poor performance, just 12 months of the inauguration of this building, while Lorca City Council and Education Council "little or nothing" have done to solve this problem.
For all this, Mazuecos has demanded the revision of the state of the pavilion's roof to check these water leaks, as well as the drainage system that leads the rainwater to the sewerage network.
This last warning was also made by the PSOE in 2017, due to poor drainage of water that accumulated on the roof of these facilities.
