The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Marisol Sanchez has demanded the current Mayor and his team to focus on improving traffic and security instead of walking entertained in "saber" Lorca drivers based on fines with their new Radar.

The mayor assures that there are "tens" cases in which it is shown that the radar is being used with "pure collection interest".

In this regard, the mayor has returned to echo the "tremendous malaise" that exists among citizens and has recalled that "there were many alternatives to control the speeding, rather than place a radar."

Given the alarm and the problems that are generating among the neighbors by the placement of the radar, from the PSOE ensure that it is necessary to conduct a study and review, exhaustively, the existing signaling on all roads, both urban and interurban, as well as an adaptation of the speed limits to them.

In addition, the mayor has pointed out the need to identify in it the "black spots" in which, over the past few years, it has been possible to confirm the incidence of accidents due to speeding or lack of visibility.

"This way we will achieve preventive and speed reduction efforts in those areas that entail danger for the citizen", he assures.

In addition, the socialist mayor has once again asked that, if indeed the radar that has placed the Popular Party is dissuasive and not merely collection, what they have to do is inform, for example through the municipal website, what days and in what points it is installed.
