The paralysis that affects the three remaining sections of the Central Evacuation Round is compounded by the worrying lack of definition of two projects that Diego José Mateos not renounce to continue claiming: the construction of a step at a different level to alleviate the traffic chaos in San Antonio and the evacuation road in the city's upper neighborhoods
Taking advantage of the visit to Lorca of the newly elected Minister of Development, Diego José Mateos has wanted to transfer his "tremendous concern" for the paralysis that continues to affect the three sections of the Central Round still pending.
The lack of coordination between the City Council of Lorca and the Autonomous Community continues to jeopardize the execution and financing of projects such as the Ronda, the different level of San Antonio or the road of the high, "basic and vital" neighborhoods for the territorial structuring of the city.
Diego José Mateos has once again emphasized the "urgent" need to unblock the paralysis that affects the Central Evacuation Round project, of which, to date, only "one of the four sections" has been completed.
As already denounced from the PSOE, the modified section 1 proposed by the Popular Party for the construction of an underpass that also directly affects the layout of the burial of the AVE, has ruined three years of "paperwork", because this Last minute change in the project will lead, with complete certainty, the cancellation of the file and the restart of the contracting procedures.
Section 2, the one that crosses the Guadalentín river bed, is also pending adjudication after two years of paperwork.
As for the third section, which affects the Torta bridge, is pending a new project that the City of Lorca has re-commissioned, so it is still far from the hiring and start of works.
Paralysis of the sections of the Central Round, adds the "lack of definition" that affects "crucial" projects, according to Mateos, for the structuring of the city, such as the construction of a section at different levels to alleviate the daily collapse of traffic that is generated in San Antonio "in rush hour", or the evacuation road of the upper neighborhoods.
Mateos has once again demanded an "immediate" solution to remedy the bottleneck that is generated in San Antonio every day.
The leader of the Lorca socialists does not renounce to continue vindicating the need to undertake this action "as a priority".
What also seems to have disappeared from the "immediate agenda" of the Popular Party is the construction of the road of the upper districts of the city, paralyzed by the succession of several administrative errors due to the "lack of coordination" between Lorca City Council and the Autonomous Community .
