The Councilman of Culture of the Municipality of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has announced that this afternoon the theoretical exam will be held to obtain the nautical certification of Recreation Boats Pattern, PER, for all those students who have taken the Safety Course and Navigation in the Sea offered by the Popular University.
The Mayor recalled that "for the third year we have launched this course within the offer of the Cultural Resources Center, through the Popular University, repeating the success of previous editions. Today we reach the end of the cycle with the exam which will take place at 6 pm at IES Ibáñez Martín and to which a total of 41 students of the aforementioned course from Lorca and from the entire Guadalentín Region who have attended classes at the University during the last months Popular".
"It must be remembered that the examining court will be chaired by the general director of Transport, Coasts and Ports, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, in accordance with the resolution of the aforementioned General Directorate which approves the convocation of the extraordinary theoretical examination", has pointed out the Edil.
Llamas concluded by saying that "this initiative is a new sample of the work developed by the Popular University, where we make available to users a comprehensive training agenda that takes into account the requests, concerns and needs of Lorca."
