The Parador de Turismo de Lorca launches "The Paradores hors d'oeuvres", an initiative that highlights the excellent gastronomy of Lorca (14/05/2018)

The Councilor for Tourism of the City Council of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, the Director of the Tourism Parador of Lorca, Juan José Asensio, and the President of Hostelor, Jesús Abellaneda, presented this morning a gastronomic initiative that will be implemented in Lorca with reason for the 90th anniversary of Paradores.

Francisco Montiel pointed out that "the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Paradores is a very important event for tourism in Spain, during which time there have been many trips through Spanish gastronomy through its restaurants. recipes and culinary proposals that have marked unique milestones, such as the launch of the delicious and beloved hors d'oeuvres in the decade of the 60s and that this year rescue as a pilot experience in Lorca to commemorate this event ".

Montiel has detailed that "the menu that Paradores has designed for this initiative is composed of 8 cold entremeses: seafood in crespillo Lorca with anchovies, chips, stuffed olives and anchovy in vinegar, cold meats (white, imperial Lorca and black morcón); Murcian goat cheeses (rosemary, wine and white pasta), stuffed egg, Murcian salad, meatloaf and gazpacho from the garden, as well as 7 hot hors d'oeuvres: artisan croquette, fairytale donut, tiger mussels, Águilas musina in adobo; migas ruleras; secret of chato murciano and cunt of Calasparra rice in a cauldron, all this has a price of 25 euros per person ".

El Edil de Turismo has invited "all Lorca, neighboring municipalities and neighboring provinces and tourists to come and taste this exquisite menu that has been developed by the Lorca Parador de Turismo, with stunning views of the city and in a unique environment in Spain, which only offers this place, it is worth remembering that this establishment is located within the historical precinct of the Castle of Lorca and an annex to other tourist-cultural spaces of recent opening such as the musealization of unpublished archaeological finds of the Jewish quarter and its synagogue.
