After repeated requests to obtain a copy in digital format, a simple CD, and the lack of response from the Mayor and his government team, the PSOE went to the contentious administrative jurisdiction on the 14th to obtain such documentation, and asked What are they afraid of not delivering?
The Spokesman of the PSOE, Diego José Mateos said that after the consultation he could do the documentation in the recruitment units, they asked the Mayor, on two occasions, to deliver a copy of the project, for further examination and by people trained to analyze the projects.
During that consultation, the socialist spokesman verified that the project was available in "digital support".
Mateos asks "what do you want to hide, or hide so you do not know about the completion and qualities of the works of Juan Carlos I", to "deny" the delivery of a CD or DVD, which insists, "is already done" by the hiring service, waiting for the delivery order to the PSOE.
The leader of the Socialists assures that it is a flagrant breach, as much of the local regulation that assists the councilors as of the norm of transparency that establishes "that all the citizens, also the councilmen, have the right to obtain copies of the documents that are in the files ".
Mateos assures that it is "sad" that we have to go back to court to obtain documentation that is ready for delivery, as has already happened with the remodeling works of La Viña.
The past day 14 was presented before the Court of the Contentious Administrative of Murcia the corresponding contentious-administrative resource by the procedure for the Protection of the Fundamental Rights of the Person according to article 114 and following of the Law 29/1998 regulating the Jurisdiction Contentious Administrative, that is the procedure foreseen to defend the right of the councilors to accede to the documents and information that are denied to him by the Corporation.
