The Council of Youth of Lorca chose this Saturday morning a new permanent commission that runs since this Sunday the institution.
The new commission led by Juan Pedro Rodríguez of the San Clemente Youth Association is made up of different youth associations such as AJPB, OJE, La Loma and Cruz Roja Juventud whose main objective is to renew the institution internally, making it more participatory and functional, as well as continuing the path marked by the previous commission.
Likewise, the Youth Council of Spain was reformulated at the participatory level, adapting itself to the new times of the new youth association movement;
It is the firm purpose of the new commission to develop incentives and receive all kinds of proposals by the broad associative sector of the municipality of Lorca.
It is noteworthy that the new commission has the support of all the associations that attended the general assembly last Saturday and were excited about the new challenges facing the new elected commission.
The first steps of this new journey have already begun, with the beginning of the development of ideas to be transferred to projects from the equality and participation committees that correspond to the Red Cross Youth and OJE.
Integration, neutrality and diversity
In addition to the normal functioning and adaptation of the Youth Council of Lorca to the new changes demanded by young people, both President Juan Pedro Rodríguez and his entire commission committed themselves to carry out the necessary measures to favor the integration of the greater possible part of all young people from Lorca, as well as maintaining a neutrality that has been in high demand for years by the council and a diversity of all kinds that favors young people and empowers the institution.
