Fulgencio Gil has delivered the corresponding certificates to the 96 students who have participated in the mixed employment and training programs "Entrebarrios", "Flora" and "Lorca Eficiente", which have involved an investment of 1.1 million.
The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, together with the Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Sandra Martínez, have delivered to the 96 students of the mixed employment and training programs "Entrebarrios", "Flora" and "Lorca Eficiente" their corresponding certificates accreditations.
We are talking about a series of programs that have had an investment of 1,184,936.64 euros, whose amount subsidized by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) has been 1,084,936.64 euros and a municipal contribution of 100,000 euros
The First Edil explained that the project "Entrebarrios" has had 32 working students, who have developed their activity in the period between March 31, 2017 and March 30, 2018. A total of 16 of the beneficiaries of this program has developed auxiliary operations of rigid finishes and urbanization, a task that has allowed the improvement of urban enclaves such as the atrium of the church of San Mateo, the set-up of the municipal pool of La Torrecilla, as well as the repair and improvement of the high districts of the city and Las Alamedas.
The "Entrebarrios" Program, subsidized by the Employment and Training Service (SEF), has had a total cost of 379,536 euros, with the municipal contribution of 30,000 euros.
Another 8 students have carried out auxiliary operations of assembly and maintenance of electronic equipment, and have carried out their corresponding practices proceeding to the improvement and renovation of different elements of lighting in installations of use and citizen service as well as in the intervention that has been executed by the City Council in Las Alamedas.
Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers have also involved the participation of 8 students, whose work has served to improve the maintenance of multiple green areas of the municipality, as well as the nursery facilities themselves.
These students have participated, specifically in the improvement of the La Torrecilla swimming pools, Úrsula Ruiz sports track, paving of the San Mateo atrium and improvement of the Ramón y Cajal Alameda.
Also in the replacement of led luminaires in different municipal offices and maintenance of gardening in different parts of the municipality.
Students who have been part of "Lorca Eficiente", which has been subsidized by the SEF, with a total cost of 523,061 euros, with the municipal contribution of 50,000 euros totaling 32. Of these 8 have focused on operations auxiliary of continuous cladding in construction, improving several urban spaces of La Torrecilla and different social premises, while another 8 students worked in plumbing and domestic heating-air conditioning operations. "Thanks to the performance of their practical training, the facilities of Las Alamedas were improved and the sports complex of La Torrecilla, among other issues The auxiliary operations of assembly of electrotechnical and telecommunications facilities in buildings served to provide training to 8 other students, who developed their work in the improvement of public spaces.
"Lorca Eficiente" has also served to improve training for the employment of 8 students in the area of ​​Assembly and Maintenance of Domotic and Inmotic Systems ", performing their practices in the incorporation of these automations in different municipal facilities. This program has undertaken coating operations in buildings such as the San Antonio pool, the Almendricos library, Zarzadilla de Totana or Doña Inés, as well as plumbing and heating-air conditioning operations in public infrastructures and spaces such as Plaza de la Embroidery, Alamedas, Plaza de España, Women's Park or the San Cristóbal neighborhood It should be noted that the students have replaced LED lights in the Alamedas and have participated in the assembly and maintenance of domotic and inmotic systems in other public buildings.
The "Flora" program, which was developed between September 7 of last year and June 6, 2018, has allowed 32 students to obtain training in auxiliary activities in forest conservation and improvement, auxiliary operations in nurseries, gardens and garden centers, pavements and urbanization masonry, as well as decorative painting under construction.
It has also been subsidized by the SEF, having a cost of 282,339 euros, with municipal contribution of 20,000 euros.
Through the four professional profiles offered, activities have been undertaken for the conservation and improvement of mountains on the south face of the Castle or on the Torrecilla.
Decorative painting has also been developed in various public and neighborhood spaces, improvement of pavements and masonry in the Torrecilla and the San Antonio District Park, as well as auxiliary activities in nurseries and gardens.
The First Edil has stated that the completion of various training courses of the many that we develop through the Local Development Department of the City of Lorca is good news as it represents the culmination of a period of learning, training and knowledge acquisition.
Its participants have a diploma that accredits their knowledge and training, covering the necessary practice to qualify for a job.
Fulgencio Gil stressed that now that the economy is resurfacing we find that there are many more possibilities to find a job, to be an active part of the labor market we have to have the knowledge and experience to be useful.
