IU-Lorca asks for an official pronouncement on the paralysis of the files affected by the return of earthquake aid (05/07/2018)

The councilor of this training, Gloria Martin, recalled that while the administration continues to "lengthen in an agonizing manner" the procedure, those affected live "in an unbearable anguish", pending the collection of money that can mean "family economic ruin" and even "the seizure of their property".

For this reason, he demanded "speed" and "crystal clearness" in the information received by those affected to avoid the "contradictory indications" and the "uncoordination" that, unfortunately, affects this whole process

The councilor of Izquierda Unida Verdes, Gloria Martín, has asked the Councilor for Recovery after the earthquakes, Saturnina Martínez, a public statement on the stoppage of actions to reimburse aid for the earthquakes of 2011 "while the autonomous community proceeds to the review of the files and makes effective the way of the justification of the fulfillment of the object and purpose of the aids through the inspection inspections of the works ".

Martin has said that the mayor of the PP has said such a stoppage in a telephone conversation, but that those affected, in safeguarding their interests, need that information is "official", especially those who have already exhausted the administrative way so that they are forced to resort to the jurisdictional contentious administrative order to defend their rights.

This paralysis is one of the agreements adopted in the ordinary plenary session last June, after the unanimous approval of all the municipal groups of an initiative initiative of Izquierda Unida-Verdes.

Martin explained that despite the goodwill expressed by the PP government team, those affected have no official record of the administrative procedure has been "stopped" and fear that they begin to practice the charges through executive the application of more interest and surcharges.

In fact, there are still "undesirable" situations, such as those affected are called to the office of the earthquake to inform them that they have received a new requirement from the CARM "but only provide the letters if they express their desire to pay," he complained.

Martín also made reference to the declarations of the general director of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, in which he assured that the Legal Services of the Autonomous Community have to "study" now the stoppage of the reimbursement orders while the almost thousand affected files are resolved.

In that sense, the mayor of IU-Greens recalled that while the administration continues to "agonizingly lengthen" the procedure, those affected live "in an unbearable anguish", pending the collection of money that may mean "family economic ruin" and even "the seizure of their property".

For this reason, he demanded "speed" and "crystal clearness" in the information received by those affected to avoid the "contradictory indications" and the "uncoordination" that, unfortunately, affects this whole process.

Meeting with the Government Delegate.

Appreciation to the PSOE

Gloria Martín wanted to expressly thank the Secretary General of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego José Mateos, the efforts made so that tomorrow the Government Delegate in the Region of Murcia, Diego Conesa, to receive representatives of the Platform of Affected by the Return of The Aids of the Earthquakes (PADAT) whose actions are coordinated by the IU councilor at the request of its members.

Martín stressed that there will be three requests that the platform will make to Conesa.

In the first place the cancellation of the state part of the interest for delay.

Secondly, request the President of the Government or the Ministry of Public Works to urge the State Council to issue an opinion that clarifies how the calculation of the prescriptions should be carried out.
