PSOE: "The PP has once again confirmed its exhaustion and lack of ideas with the programming of paid concerts for the Lorca fair" (07/08/2018)

The PSOE dismisses as "continuist and repetitive" the poster that the PP has organized for what, they hope, will be the "last fair" of this government team.

Mazuecos says it is time to reflect and see what has happened so that Lorca has passed, in a matter of 10 years, to be a true reference for the organization of cultural events, to the "irrelevance" to which the Popular Party has led us

The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos has described as "continuous and repetitive" the program of paid concerts announced by the Popular Party, and claim to give participation to the citizenship in the face of the development of this agenda of events musicals.

Ensures that this poster, which they hope will be the last one that the Popular Party has to organize, confirms the political exhaustion and the lack of ideas of the PP government team that, in addition, "still prefer to leave in the hands of a private company the organization of this programming based on artistic packages, instead of having the opinion, the criteria and the participation of the perfectly trained municipal technicians ".

Mazuecos has expressed his utmost respect and admiration to each and every one of the artists and groups that complete this program, and of course, to his followers.

"It is clear that it is not easy to get it right in terms of tastes."

However, he insisted that beyond criticism it is convenient to reflect and see "what has happened so that Lorca has gone from competing, 10-15 years ago with the big capitals, when this city attracted maximum referents, historical and moment ", so that at present, the Popular Party has placed Lorca in the" cultural irrelevance ".
