Lorca participates in the European Day of Jewish Culture with different activities in the Castle and in the city based on "storytelling" (23/08/2018)

The Councilor for Tourism of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, reported this morning that the Castle of Lorca will participate for another year the celebration of the European Day of Jewish Culture, an activity that will be part of 28 countries at European level and with which is intended to make known the historical and cultural heritage of the Jewish people.

Montiel has detailed that "in the Castle the activities will begin at 10:30 am with special visits to the synagogue and the Jewish quarter, with the main attraction being a theatrical visit" El Rabí tells stories "at 12:30 pm in which a character will tell us stories of their culture and their ancestors who lived here in the Middle Ages, and then a workshop will be held related to the theme of the visit.
