The City Council reinforces its information profile on the Internet (31/08/2018)

In the first eight months of the year, www.lorca.es has had a total of 101,952 users and 747,461 pages have been viewed.

The Councilor for the Information Society of the City of Lorca, Francisco García, has reported the number of users and the most viewed pages of the information portal lorca.es, as well as official social networks.

In the first eight months of the year the municipal website has had a total of 101,952 users and 747,461 pages have been viewed, 118,196 more than last year, with the highest peak of visits in August.

Francisco García pointed out that "once again, the portal www.lorca.es, from which all updated municipal information can be consulted and perform numerous online procedures, has been the one that has received the most unique visitors, reaching 220,191. In addition, it should be noted that the page was also 190,610 times in which the municipal competitions are included, 26,249 page views of the section of download of forms, 15,911 which gives general information of councils and services, 13,959 visits has received the self-assessment and 11,229 the cultural agenda of the city, as well as the section on municipal news "Lorca Informa" has been seen 21,100 times, ranking as the fourth most visited page by users ".

It should be noted that these figures are justified by the fact that the creation and improvement of specialized pages of the different municipal areas have generated a referral of visitors from the general portal to those of the councils and municipal services.

Citizens already know or include in their favorites the direct addresses of the services they use the most, and even by conjugating two words in the search engines, they take them to a more specific municipal website, without having to click on the generic page first.
