Antonio Meca asks that reports be issued on compliance with current legislation on livestock farms and those related to animal welfare.
Ciudadanos has asked the City Council and the Commander of the Seprona of the Civil Guard of Lorca to carry out an inspection of a cattle farm in the hamlet of La Hoya Lorca and issue a report on compliance with current legislation on the protection of animals in livestock farms and animal welfare.
"We have been aware of the existence of this farm and in the visit we have made to the farm we have observed possible anomalies and irregularities such as scattered corpses with exposure to the sun for days, overcrowding of animals on a large amount of excrement and possible sick animals without be isolated, "says Council Member Antonio Meca.
