Representatives of Paso Azul meet with the president of the Autonomous Community in San Esteban to advance the heritage improvement of the Brotherhood (13/09/2018)

The president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, received a delegation from Paso Azul at the Palacio de San Esteban yesterday morning.

The blue delegation was headed by the president, José María Miñarro, and completed by the president of the Association of the Virgen de los Dolores, Joaquina Gil, the President of the Paso Azul Foundation, María del Sagrado Corazón García, and the secretary of the Paso Azul, Andrés Porlán.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Education, Adela Martínez-Cachá, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Miriam Guardiola, and the Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil.

During the meeting they discussed, among other issues, the heritage improvement of the Brotherhood within the process that is being developed to recover and value the whole of San Francisco.

In this sense it is necessary to emphasize that from the Regional Government it was wanted to emphasize the paper of the Blue Museum of the Holy Week, MASS, like a regional referent in the cultural plane and like an extraordinary tourist incentive.

In the same way, other future actions to be developed for the improvement of the Paso Azul museum complex were addressed.

In another order of things, the president of the Autonomous Community showed great interest in the cultural programming developed by this brotherhood through the MASS, interested in the upcoming activities and exhibitions to be made and even asking for the next edition of La Noche del Tenorio .

From the Blue Step wanted to thank once again his personal commitment to the activities developed by that it is necessary to remember that during this year he has inaugurated two important samples as Art, History and Symbology of the Blue Butler last January and Chronicle of an Era.

Emiliano Rojo, during the month of June, in addition to accompanying the blue mayordomos during the traditional Salve of last Holy Week, in the same way that the constant support of the Regional Government for the development and heritage improvement of the Brotherhood was thanked.

On behalf of the Paso Azul, López Miras was presented with an institutional banner and a photograph of the regional president himself praying before the Stma.
