The spokesman for Izquierda Unida-Verdes in the City of Lorca, Pedro Sosa, has warned of the placement of cables on the facades of several buildings in the streets Meca, Eulogio Periago and Los Veras, among others, in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, by a mobile phone company.
Sosa recalled that in June of this year, the mayor of the city, Fulgencio Gil, announced "a crusade" against the wiring that floods the streets and facades of the urban area to get their channeling.
To this end, Gil assured that he would meet with the electricity companies in order to address a common strategy to ensure that the channeling of external wiring is a reality as soon as possible.
He did not even rule out the elaboration of a municipal ordinance in this regard.
However, the streets of the city are still flooded with the amount of cables currently.
In this regard, Sosa wondered what the enormous expense that the administration has done to channel the city has served.
"The pipes are empty because these companies find it more economical to plant their wiring on the facades than to do things well," he complained.
Therefore, has demanded that the installation of this type of wiring be stopped and that the mayor comply with the commitment given to address this problem, which negatively affects the image of both the urban area and the neighborhoods of Lorca.
