After the participation of kyokushinkai karate and judo, the 40th Guadalentín Sports Games could not be dismissed without celebrating an activity of another martial art with great presence in our municipality such as taekwondo.
During the afternoon of Saturday, the Felipe VI Sports Complex hosted this exhibition, which, as every year, was large in terms of fighters and public, but which also had illustrious presences, as is the case of the Consul of Korea in Spain, who was honored in the course of the activity.
Up to 150 participants from both Lorca and other regional municipalities gathered in the activity that began at 4:00 pm and which reflected very good attendance.
The wrestlers participated first in a taekwondo exhibition, but also in hapdiko, a personal defense modality, to later go on to pumse competitions or combats.
These were played in different categories and for wrestlers of all ages, who were able to show their progress in this martial art that has so many fighters in Lorca and who offered, once again, a great sports afternoon.
