The Ministry of the Interior has sent to the Autonomous Community the new rental assistance agreement for those affected by the Lorca earthquakes, which implies an extension of the previous one, signed under Royal Decree Law 6/2011 of May 13, by the that urgent measures were taken to repair the damage caused by the seismic movements of May 11 of that year.

"Once again, the Government of Spain shows its commitment and sensitivity to our Region in general and to the neighbors of Lorca in particular by unblocking a situation that was paralyzed by the expiration of the previous agreement, which stipulated a period of validity of six years .
