The suspects were located on board a small truck allegedly used to commit thefts

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, framed in the 'Plan against the abductions in agricultural and livestock farms', has developed the investigation 'IVEPLAST' that has culminated with two people investigated as alleged authors of the crimes of robbery with force and Theft with intimidation committed on rural farms in the hamlet of Morata lorquina.
The investigation began last July, when the Civil Guard became aware of several robberies committed in rural farms of the population centers of Ugejar and Puerto Muriel of the hamlet of Morata lorquina, where they had been stolen several plastic boxes and a metallic door, facts that had generated some social alarm in the area.
La Benemérita gathered the necessary information and found out that, in addition, in one of the cases investigated, the suspects were discovered by the tenant of a greenhouse farm and confronted him by threatening him with a metal tube.
The Civil Guard established a series of police devices of discreet vigilance in the area in order to detect the presence of a small truck with which, apparently, they moved to commit thefts.
The search of the vehicle has been positive when a patrol has detected two individuals aboard a truck, similar to the one related to the facts, that circulated on the RM-332 road that connects the towns of Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón.
The civil guards have identified the occupants, two males, of Spanish nationality and with a bulky criminal record for crimes against property, and has obtained sufficient evidence to link them with the facts investigated.
In that act it has proceeded to its transfer to police agencies for the investigation of proceedings for the presumed authorship of the crimes of robbery with force and robbery with intimidation.
The operation 'IVEPLAST' has allowed to determine that these people are allegedly related to robberies committed in the hamlet of Morata Lorca.
In addition, its geographical mobility has been verified on board the small truck, by rural areas of the Region, so it is investigated its possible relationship with other similar criminal acts.
The people investigated by men, aged 29 and 52, residents of Sewer and with a bulky criminal record and the proceedings conducted have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Lorca (Murcia).
