The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, attended last night the concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia to commemorate the centenary of the banner 'The Prayer in the Garden' of the Paso Blanco de Lorca, "an unparalleled work of art that goes to be one of the most important objects that will make the Lorca embroidery and Holy Week of Lorca have the recognition that is deserved by Unesco, "said the head of the regional executive.

Also, the president thanked the Paso Blanco de Lorca "for opening works of art like this to the whole society."

The standard of 'Prayer in the garden' is the work of Emiliano Felices and is declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

Under the direction of Virginia Martínez, the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia offered a classical program, which began with the overture 'La clemencia de Tito', by Mozart, to continue with the Concerto for Violoncello No. 1 by Haydn, that had as a soloist the Lorca, and member of the Youth Orchestra of the Region, Pedro Fernández Millán, and that ended with the Symphony No. 7 of Beethoven.
