A dozen catering establishments of the High Pedanías will take part during the month of November in the IV edition of the Route of the Ethnographic Top (31/10/2018)

For only 2.5 euros (tapa and beer or wine) you can enjoy different tastings made with typical products of the gastronomy of the region.

The Councilor for Rural Development in the City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, has reported that the Espartaria Federation, Tierras Altas de Lorca launches the IV Route of the Ethnographic Cap "Pedanías Altas de Lorca".

It is an initiative that is undertaken for the fourth consecutive year, this time from day 3 until the day of November 25, with the aim of boosting the districts and sites of our municipal area.

A total of 9 premises located in the councils of Avilés, Coy, La Paca, Las Terreras, Zarcilla de Ramos, Zarzadilla de Totana and the parish will offer their gastronomic offer with drink (wine or beer) for € 2.5.

In addition to enjoying the typical cuisine of the highlands of Lorca, you can visit exhibitions to places of interest and exhibitions, organized by the associations of the aforementioned councils.

To promote participation there are established "routers" so that all interested persons can be completed to enter a raffle (hotel nights, spa, etc.).

The month of November is a unique moment to expand the knowledge of our highlands, enjoying its cuisine and its people.

Prizes have been established for the 3 best tapas, as well as raffles with prizes for 3 of the people who participate in this route.

The possibility of carrying out this route by bus on November 17, 18, 24 and 25 has been established

This project is supported by the Leader Initiative of the ERDF programs of the European Union.

Among the exhibitions to visit we can find a tour of Bodegas Contreras, in the hamlet of Avilés, as well as ethnographic, ornithological and photographic samples in all these councils.
