The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has shown his outrage after learning that, by decision of the Regional Government of Lopez Miras, the city of Lorca will not be among the cities of the region that will have direct bus connection with the future international airport of Corvera, unlike Murcia or Cartagena.
Mateos assures that it is another contempt of the autonomic Government towards the city of Lorca.
"By population and entity, and by strategic geography, Lorca has to be connected to the international airport of the Region," insists Mateos.
Mateos demands that the Regional Government of López Miras rectify its claims, and asks Fulgencio Gil to "espabile" and not swallow such a "grievance".
"Leaving Lorca, and with it to our entire region, without direct connection to the international airport would be another blow to our economic and tourism development, and confirmation that the Popular Party does not believe in the least of the importance of the municipality of Lorca in the regional context, and they do not have a future project for the city of the Sun. "
The PSOE will demand the direct connection of passengers, via bus, between Lorca and the airport through an initiative in the Regional Assembly.
"We are not going to sit idly by in front of such an outrage."
