Following the act-conference of the PSOE, held on November 7 at the Cultural Center of the city for advice on how to claim against the waiting lists in health, a group of citizens affected by the waiting list of area III of health of the Region of Murcia, decided to set up this platform that was born with the aim of protecting the health rights of patients in this area, correct health inequalities among users of different health areas, and advise those affected by providing information and the necessary administrative support, in each case.

So much so that, they emphasize in a statement, "this Platform has emerged from the need that began to be revealed as a result of the information provided during this talk, as there were many patients who from the first moment began to request care personalized on how to claim to try to advance their medical appointments, based on the Law ".

In fact, they report, "in parallel with the constitution of this Platform, some cases of users who had been waiting for their services for months have been counseled and resolved."

From the Platform they encourage all citizens of area III of health, which includes the municipalities of Lorca, Totana , Puerto Lumbreras, Águilas and Aledo to participate in this movement, and to ensure that "the citizen force serves to defend and enforce our rights as users of public health ".

"Our work will be to advise, from the legal point of view, users who feel helpless before the shameful and illegal waiting lists that we support in area III of health."
