The Deputy Mayor of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, along with the President of the San Clemente Federation, Luis Antonio Torres del Alcázar, have announced the new lighting of the throne of the Patron, San Clemente, which incorporates 690 leds of the latest generation to allow a greater brilliance of the size during the procession.
Montiel announced that "the company FETSA facilities has generously donated this new lighting system that will be released on Saturday in the procession in honor of our employer, who will depart on Saturday at 7 pm from San Patricio to visit Plaza de España , Calle Álamo, Corredera, Alporchones and Lope Gisbert to return through Álamo back to the Plaza de España ".
The lighting is centered on the image of the patron saint through five dirigible projectors finished in nuanced gold for the sake of integrating into the set and becoming immersed in the floral decoration of the throne.
Likewise, lighting systems have been installed in the lower areas, so that the gothic tracery skirtes embroidered in gold show with splendor the richness of this extraordinary work.
Both materials and labor have been provided by the company FETSA Instalaciones, which has also installed four monofocal and one double projectors that receive LED lamps of 4000 Kelvin, allowing an Index of Color Performance (IRC) of 87%, adding up to total of 3,000 lumens.
Torres del Alcázar wanted "from the San Clemente Federation and the Brotherhood of the Patron Saint to thank the generosity of this company in the figure of its managers, Pedro Angel and José Martínez Fernández, for this valuable contribution that will impact on a greater wealth of the procession with which we pay homage to our Patron ".
