The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has announced the holding of a meeting with the author Lorca Juana Mateos Blázquez, within the programming of the Popular University for this quarter.

Llamas recalled that "one of the novelties of the current program is the celebration of meetings with Lorca authors with the aim of making local writers and their latest works known, having the opportunity to establish a dialogue between authors and readers. carried out with the collaboration of the Editorial lorquina Tres Columnas ".

Next Wednesday, November 28 at 8 pm and for free, the Popular University will host the meeting with the writer from Lorca Juana Mateos Blázquez.

Mateos, a teacher and graduate in Social and Cultural Anthropology, will talk about her works Las voces del engaño, Oskurambrujo and Las hijos de Don Andrés, also introducing her latest novel Vindicta.

After this session, the meetings of the Popular University will return in January with new sessions that will allow to continue knowing more about the local writers and their works.
