The councilman of Transports of the City council of Lorca, Javier Pelegrín, has announced the putting in operation this same Monday of the line of free bus between the parking of the Artés Carrasco Stadium and the Rafael Méndez Hospital.
The mayor has announced that "fruit of the commitment of the mayor of Lorca and the Municipal Government Team, from Monday December 3 will launch this new service that will be available to users completely free every working day between 7:30 and 3:30 pm The trips will be every 15 minutes maximum, allowing users to park at zero cost in the large parking lot of the football field and move comfortably and quickly to the entrance to the hospital.
Pelegrín stressed that "thanks to this innovative initiative, the problem of parking suffered by the main health facility in the Guadalentín Valley is solved, but this system with a shuttle minibus has a great advantage, as users can comfortably reach the Main door of the Hospital, saving the tour of the hospital facilities, all completely free of charge ".
The council wanted to "encourage users to make use of this service that comes to solve the historical parking problems that have been occurring since the construction of Rafael Méndez Hospital, while improving the way to access the site of pedestrians. "
