The Court admits for processing the appeal filed by the PSOE for the refusal of the PP to allow access and consultation of several personnel recruitment files of Limusa (12/12/2018)

Mateos: "We do not doubt the process, but we do want to have all the information that also corresponds to us as representatives of citizens to know, value and vote for or not of the process." If they have nothing to hide, we do not understand why or the Mayor or councilman of Limusa let us have access and consult the content of interviews, examinations, or check if there were resources against or not around the recruitment processes. "

The Commercial Court number 1, in its ordinary procedure 466/2018, has admitted to processing the appeal that was forced to present the Socialist Party against the Mayor and his PP government team for the lack of information and transfer of prior documentation to the Board of Directors of Limusa.

Documentation that the spokesman of the PSOE, Diego José Mateos requested, previous to the celebration of the Board of Directors in which the approval of several processes of selection of personnel of the municipal company of Limusa was voted.

The agreement to approve these personnel selection processes, to which Diego José Mateos opposed and voted against for not having the information requested, went ahead with the sum of the votes in favor of the Popular Party and the United Left, and the votes against PSOE and Citizens.

"We can not vote in favor after the doubts that arose when we did not want to give us access to the information we asked for," he reiterates.

"I understand that in order to approve or reject a process of selection of personnel of a public company, as representatives of the citizenship, all the necessary information about this process must be in our possession, in view of the fact that neither the Mayor nor the councilman of Limusa were able to give us the information requested, to assess and have a position, we were forced to resort to justice, "says Mateos.

"The court has seen signs to admit our appeal process, so much so that the hearing is already scheduled for next December 18, in which both parties will present their allegations," adds Mateos.

"We believe that recourse to justice should be the last thing, that's why we are willing to withdraw this remedy if the Mayor rectifies and decides to give us access and consultation to these files, if there is nothing to hide, we do not understand why they do not leave us," reiterates

As reported by Mateos, to date and following the filing of this appeal, the government team has only delivered a copy of the minutes "we already had", but assures "nothing of the selection files, nothing of the exams, nothing of the content of the interviews, nothing of the existence or not of resources against these processes, nothing at all ".

"Obviating the confidential nature of certain data, there is information that corresponds to us and to which the Popular Party is not allowed to have access".

"They have not given us anything, and we do not know why the mayor or his councilor of Limusa have not wanted us to have access to these files that correspond to us as representatives of the citizens." If there is nothing to hide, I do not understand what problem they have. , and more so now that the Court has seen signs to admit our proceeding, "adds Mateos.

"It is evident that, once again, transparency is absent in the City Council of Lorca," laments Mateos.

"It has already happened when we requested access to the works project on Avenida Juan Carlos I, and now it happens again when we have requested access to the files that have regulated the hiring of Limusa personnel." It is asking the PP for a document of a certain size and begin to put obstacles and difficulties, "says Mateos.
