The councilman in charge of the municipal company Limusa, Juan Francisco Martínez Carrasco, announced this morning that the tender for four collecting units, two rear loading and two lateral loading, has already been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The objective is both to replace and expand the existing fleet in the municipal cleaning company, Limusa.

The amount of the service tendered amounts to one and a half million euros.

Regarding the vehicles, Martínez Carrasco stressed that "the rear boxes mainly serve the narrowest streets of the urban area, one of the units will replace a vehicle with similar characteristics at the end of its useful life, while the other will reinforce the service The two boxes of lateral load system will suppose a renovation of the current ones, that mainly serve in the wide arteries of the city and in districts ".

In the tender, which by its amount is extended to the entire European Union, is included as a fixed expense by means of the renting formula for the machinery including repairs, insurance, taxes, including tire changes, during the next 5 years.

The vehicles comply with the most restrictive regulations in environmental matters (Euro 6) and noise pollution.

In addition, the vehicles requested will incorporate the pre-installation of all the electronic and computer elements necessary for their adaptation to the intelligent management system of both the fleet and the containers that the company had at the time of its incorporation.
