The president of the association D'Genes of rare diseases in Lorca, Miguel Angel Ruiz, today went to the Virgen del Alcázar Hospital with several members of the team I can do Reto, to receive this donation from the workers of the center and the company , represented by its manager, Mª Dolores Lafuente.

In addition, the workers collaborate with this cause in the Christmas business lunch, as a large Christmas basket is drawn for solidarity, committing the company to double the amount raised in the raffle to deliver all that money to the chosen NGO.
In this way, the initial 1,000 euros were converted during the meal to 2,500 euros donated thanks to the collaboration of workers and company.
The #retopasitos is born with the commitment to provide a minimum of 8,000 euros to the association D'Genes to help them in three different areas: the improvement of computer equipment with which to track and assess the sensory and physical advances of those affected ;
collaboration in a cognitive improvement program for children with these rare diseases;
and his involvement in popular sports thanks to the help of APAT (Association of Early Care Parents of Lorca), which will lend its adapted joelëtte chairs for those children who can not function autonomously.
