The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, in view of the marginalization and neglect shown by the current central government in railway matters, since it has not even answered the allegations proposed by the affected neighbors and by the City Council itself, has publicly demanded the urgent establishment of a direct interlocution between the Municipal Consistory and the Ministry of Development to incorporate the proposals of the City Council and those affected to the final project of the works.

Fulgencio Gil has explained that in no case we are going to allow him to continue ninguneando to Lorca in this way.

We will continue alongside the victims of this nonsense, as we have been from the start, because here they want to condemn us to suffer walls, but 16 meters high, "walled" houses and for life.

Until recently we have seen a parade of politicians censoring walls in other cities, but here in Lorca they have remained mute to vindicate.

The government of Spain has stopped and totally modified what was planned in other places, here, with even more reason, they will have to correct their mistakes, since the damages would be irreparable.

This Mayor's office will not remain crossed arms in the face of the marginalization that the current central government is dispensing, since its consequences would be paid for life.

The Mayor, in view of how they are precipitating the negative news about it, has reported that it will demand in the next municipal plenary session that the Government of Spain will urgently cancel the tender in course, taking into account the problems that have generated in our municipality.

Once the tender has been canceled, the modification of the project is required with the allegations made by the Town Council and the affected people, as well as the urgent realization of a visit by the responsible technicians to study together with the neighbors and the City Council on the ground the proposed allegations and be able to work together in the search for solutions.

The First Edil has stressed that the proposals of Lorca, unlike others, do not leave in any case of the approved route, nor would involve an increase in investment, nor entailed any delay.

We are in time to correct a historical error, comparable to the one that perpetrated at the beginning of the 1980s closing the train lines that communicated with Granada and Almería.

Fulgencio Gil has anticipated that Lorca will also demand that the central government urgently answer the allegations that may arise, before the approval of the project and its subsequent tender, and that it will send information on the status of the "Informative study of the urban integration project. and adaptation to high performance of the Railway Network of Lorca ", taking into account the technical incidents that have been detected both in the Rambla de Las Señoritas and in the alternative of passing under the Guadalentín River bed.

The City Council, under the circumstances, insists that they take into account the allegations transferred last June to the Ministry of Development, which include a chain of improvements and allegations to be included in the construction project of the Platform of the AVE requesting that in view of the high traffic recorded by the Villaespesa and midway roads, the steps should not be elevated but buried, in addition to the replacement of the roads of the Sierra de la Sierra, Puente Churra and Vereda de La Palma.

These requests include the realization of a less invasive alternative for the affected private buildings, as well as the incorporation of more drainage works and the extension of the existing ones of 2.2 m, to avoid afflictions in case of torrential rains.

It was also requested that an attempt be made to adjust the gradients to the existing terrain and to the planned transversal drainage works, since very high red levels are observed along the entire length of the platform to be executed.

With the reduction of the level of the slope we would obtain a minor alteration of the landscape, improving the visual impact;

a lower superficial occupation of the affected properties and, therefore, a lower loss of soil and of agricultural productivity;

a smaller volume of fillings ...

Lorca asked that the upper passes of the D-3 (pk 243 + 500), the Camino de Villaespesa (pk 245 + 000) and the Camino de Enmedio (pk 245 + 680) be projected lower, taking advantage of the existing road Currently, in order to reduce the conditions and improve the layout of the crossings.
