The Apostolic Penitentiary of the Holy See has confirmed the General Secretariat of the Bishopric of Cartagena, following the request made by Bishop José Manuel Lorca Planes, which grants the plenary indulgences for the different celebrations of the Jubilee Time that the Bishop has granted to the sanctuary of the patron saint of Lorca on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the canonical coronation of the image of Our Lady of the Gardens.
In this Jubilee Time, the plenary indulgences can be profited: in the celebration of the opening of this jubilee (March 17);
every Sunday of the month of May;
on September 8 at the feast of the Virgen de las Huertas;
September 22 at the Eucharist on the occasion of the pilgrimage of the image of the patron saint of Lorca to the parish of Our Lady of Carmen of that town;
on November 26, the anniversary day of the canonical coronation;
and on March 22, 2020, in the celebration of the closing of this Jubilee Time.
In order to profit from the indulgences, the customary requirements (Eucharistic communion, sacramental confession, prayer of the Creed and pray for the intentions of the Pope) must be fulfilled in addition to visiting the Parish-Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Real de las Huertas.
