The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, announced that this Wednesday, February 27, will open at 20:00 in the Huerto Ruano an exhibition starring the works of Andalusian painters Antonio and Javier Egea.
The mayor has detailed that "until March 28 you can visit this show that has the peculiarity of the opposition of the works of two painters with an obvious family degree: they are father and son, but the blood bond is not so artistic, since while Antonio Egea recreates nature in his works using the fusion between painting and sculpture, Javier is an expert in portraiture, which is an opportunity to enjoy the work of these two artists from Almeria ".
Antonio Egea is a painter, artist, musician, sculptor and retired teacher.
He has exhibited both in Andalusia and nationally and internationally, arriving at his works in Germany or the United States.
It is linked to the Miguel Guirao District Museum of Vélez Rubio and is a member of the Center for Velezan Studies.
Javier Egea is a free painter and portrait painter.
It has one of the most personal, sincere and consistent trajectories within the Andalusian pictorial panorama.
His painting flees from the effects to offer nude and austere works, highlighting especially his portraits of small and large format.
