Francisco Campos, mayoral candidate for Podemos Lorca, has expressed the need for the implementation of Comprehensive Intervention Plans for various neighborhoods of Lorca such as San Cristobal, San Diego, Apolonia, Rambla de Tejares or Barriada de Los Angeles.

Campos wanted to emphasize that, for years, in many municipalities of our country are being launched the so-called "Integral Plans" for the rehabilitation of neighborhoods: "we understand that the recovery of the municipality should be a fundamental and sustained in the The list of degraded neighborhoods in Lorca is getting too long, resulting in a degraded municipality, which is why it is time to look less at what we are going to build to generate capital gains. to those of always and to look at the already built, where thousands of people who have been abandoned for the lack of implementation of public policies during the last decade of popular government live "

Campos considers that there is an urgent need to bet on the creation of public policies that bet decidedly for the improvement of the neighborhoods of Lorca, being necessary to address the housing problem, social actions that guarantee the improvement of the quality of life of their dwellers, economic actions that encourage the reactivation of the neighborhood, provision of equipment, such as schools, parks, health centers, etc.

Campos emphasizes that this project is of such magnitude that it is essential to involve all administrations, both municipal and regional, the University, NGOs, Neighborhood Associations, etc.

Finally, Campos has requested that the implementation of this Comprehensive Plan of Intervention in the aforementioned neighborhoods of our municipality be studied, being transferred for its execution to the municipal budget of 2020, and the Autonomous Community is urged to be involved in the drafting and application from beginning to end of the Integral Plans of said neighborhoods, guaranteeing their participation in the financing thereof.
