The Social Council of the National Livestock Reference Center of Lorca recently approved the actions for the period 2019-2022, which include aspects such as the improvement of management procedures, a plan for the training of trainers, open courses of national scope, actions of innovation and experimentation, and the creation of a web portal to publicize the functions and activities of the National Reference Centers, among others.
They also include collaboration with the State Foundation for Employment Training, the development of learning and evaluation guides, animal welfare courses, as well as the development of auxiliary didactic material for livestock farms.
The General Director of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Francisco González Zapater, participated in the Social Council with representatives of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, the Ministry of Education, the Public Employment Service, as well as representatives of the CCOO and Asaja trade unions, among others.
The National Reference Center of Livestock, attached to the Integrated Center of Training and Agricultural Experiences (Cifea) of Lorca, offered the last course training for updating the certificates of professionalism of ecological livestock, porcine production of breeding, breeding, rearing and bait , care and handling of the horse and auxiliary activities in livestock, among others.
He has also offered the certificate of professional assistance in clinical care in veterinary centers.
During the first semester of 2019, technical training courses for trainers on swine reproduction management, updated procedures for sanitary treatments in hives and management protocols for animal transport are planned.
