The PSOE is firmly committed to Lorca with Marisol Sánchez as number 2 to the Congress of Deputies (11/03/2019)

"On April 28, we decided to decide whether we want a socialist government to advance, which is beneficial for the interests of Lorca and the Region, as the Government of Pedro Sánchez has made clear in the last eight months with measures that have led to social progress and recovery. of lost rights with the policies of the PP, or the option of a Spain of retrocession to the past ".

The lorquina Marisol Sánchez Jódar has been elected candidate number 2 of the PSOE by the Region of Murcia to the Congress of Deputies.

This was ratified this past Saturday by the Regional Committee of the PSRM-PSOE.

The General Secretary of the PSOE lorquino, Diego José Mateos has shown his satisfaction, because it confirms "the decided bet" of the Socialist Party by Lorca.

"Lorca will be represented, directly, in the Congress of Deputies through a Lorca, Marisol Sánchez, a woman prepared, trained, aware of the challenges facing our city, and who knows what it is to leave the skin for Lorca, for its neighborhoods and its districts ".

Sanchez has reaffirmed his commitment to "fight, with nails and teeth, for the interests of the Region of Murcia, and of course, for the specific weight that Lorca deserves to recover".

The candidate to Congress says that "we play a lot on April 28," as, he says, "it is very important to decide if we want a socialist government to move forward, as the Government of Pedro Sánchez has made clear in the last eight months. important measures that have supposed social advances and recovery of lost rights with the policies of the PP, or the option of a Spain of retrocession to the past ".

"My candidacy is that of a person with a strong municipal vision, as is the PSOE."

"I know the reality of Lorca, what are its challenges and most important challenges, as a municipality that deserves better treatment at the regional and regional level."

In addition, he highlighted "I am entrusted with defending Lorca, mandate that I receive from my neighbors, my group and, of course, my Secretary General, Diego José Mateos, who I am convinced, will be the best Mayor Lorca can have. "

Sánchez Jódar pleads for the importance of giving continuity to the Government of Pedro Sánchez who has done "in eight months what the previous government did not do in seven years".

"It's impossible to do more in just 8 months."

The commitment of the PSOE Government to this land has been "absolute", in a period in which, among other things, "dammed up" aid has been unlocked for rent and reconstruction after the earthquakes;

the study of a comprehensive flood defense plan in the Guadalentín Valley, with the realization of the preliminary projects for the construction of the dams of Nogalte, Béjar and La Torrecilla, and in which the water supply has been ensured at all times through the Tajo-Segura transfer.

"There is a lot to be done, and that is why we are going to maintain our demands, to close the wounds still open after the earthquakes, as happens to those affected by the return of aid, or who maintain the uncertainty and worry every time there is threat of torrential rains. "

In regard to Lorca and the Region of Murcia, Marisol Sanchez has reiterated that the commitment of the Government of Spain is "more than obvious", as was made clear in the draft General State Budgets that "knocked down" Popular Party and Citizens, who added their votes to the independentistas to "reject 3,862.59 million euros that were going to reach the region as a whole, 277.47 million more than in previous years".

"Someone in the PP and in Citizens will have to explain, and they would have to apologize, for denying all of Murcia this investment designed to face with guarantees the interests of this Region."

In that investment that was going to receive the Region of Murcia, and the candidate says "we can unlock with the majority confidence of the Spanish", were planned investments as important as the 4.3 million for the start of the construction of the Palace of Justice ;

the 1.3 million for the restoration of the church of San Juan;

378,000 euros for the recovery of the paintings of the Virgen de las Huertas sanctuary, as well as the 50% bonus of the IBI to those affected by the earthquakes, or the 3 million euros for districts, that due to "incompetence" of the current Mayor and his government team "in an incomprehensible way, they lost".

From the Congress, Marisol Sánchez aspires to solve the challenges that, as a city, Lorca has before it: "We are going to give voice to the society of Lorca that demands the arrival of the AVE in an underground way along the 4.3 km necessary not to strangle the growth of the city, also of the neighbors, such as Villaespesa, whose layout must be improved to solve the problems it generates for their well-being, the modernization of the neighborhood, as transport of people, the means used by students, workers and pensioners, or a safer municipal term, with greater numbers in Civil Guard and National Police ".
