Lorca will host next Saturday the II Joëlette Spanish Championship organized by Apat Lorca with the participation of 80 runners (02/04/2019)

On the occasion of the World Autism Day celebrated today, April 2, from 20:30 hours will be illuminated the facade of the War Theater of blue color, symbolic color of Autism, and will read a manifesto by part of the Parents Association of the Early Care Center and the City of Lorca

The Councilors of Sports and Oenegés of the City council of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas and Fátima Mínguez, respectively, have presented this morning the II edition of the Championship of Spain of Joëlette, organized by the APAT Lorca Association, through its sports section Apat Lorca Fulfilling Dreams, and that has the collaboration of the Department of Sports.

Juan Miguel Bayonas recalled "the inclusive nature of this test that was held for the first time last year in our city, and for which we will continue to bet so that inclusive sports continue as before, increasingly on the rise".

The Councilor for Sports has stressed that "the event, which will take place this Saturday, April 6, starting at 5:00 p.m., aims to raise awareness of this modality of inclusive sports, and for this reason, this Association is fighting every day for the inclusion in the sport of all those who want to practice it, whether they have a disability or not, with the help of all those volunteers and friends of Apat Lorca ".

The departure and arrival will be located in the Plaza de España, the test will be developed in an urban circuit of medium difficulty, with a predicted distance of 10-12 kilometers and a positive height difference of 200 meters.

The categories in which it will be possible to participate will be feminine, masculine and mixed Absolute.

Male, when the people who wear the Joëlette are all boys, or Feminine, if they are all girls.

There will also be a Mixed category, if there are men and women among the people who carry the chair.

As for the prizes, the first three of each category will have a trophy.

The registration period will be open until this Thursday, April 4 and they can be formalized on the web asuspuestos.com.

The price of registration per person will be 20 euros and includes bag, supplies, insurance, shower service and dinner runner.

Only a maximum of 80 entries will be accepted.

On Friday, April 5, the numbers will be delivered from 5 pm to 8 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.

The teams will be formed by a minimum of 2 riders plus the person transported or a maximum of 4 riders plus the person transported.

The participation of minors is subject to parental authorization or legal guardian.

The person transported by the team must present their certificate of recognized mental and / or physical disability, which accredits them in order to participate with the team.

From the organization they wanted to thank the people who have come to collaborate on Saturday in this test, and point out that if someone is willing to volunteer can still do it.

It is worth noting that along the route there will be the necessary health assistance with the collaboration of the Red Cross, Ambulances of Lorca and the Municipal Emergency Service.
