The companies highlighted by their ability to innovate and business development will receive 6,000, 4,000 and 2,000 euros, respectively, thanks to this biannual event that recognizes the ability to generate employment locally.
The Commission of the X Business Initiatives Contest City of Lorca has decided to recognize with the first prize, endowed with 6,000 euros, the company Aire Nuevo SLL.
The second prize, endowed with 4,000 euros, has been for Ofislor Siglo XXI, while Cervezas Colapso will receive the third prize, worth 2,000 euros.
All the economic amounts will be used to finance business improvements and innovations undertaken by companies.
The City Council congratulates all the firms for the great level shown and for contributing to make Lorca a leading city in terms of economic and business development.
The X City of Lorca Business Initiatives Contest, biannual contest, seeks to promote and promote new business projects that enhance the social and economic development of the municipality, promoting initiatives with innovation capacity and that suppose a reinforcement for the quality of local employment.
On this occasion, newly created companies whose start date of activity was between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2018, and which had not developed the same or similar activity during the twenty-four months prior to July 2016. As a novelty in this edition, the participation of companies from any sector and activity previously created was allowed, but they have incorporated innovations in their production processes or commercialization routes into their businesses from July 2016 to June 2018, thus giving the opportunity to take part in people and companies that bet on innovation.
Aire Nuevo SLL is a company dedicated to the design, sale and installation of kitchen, bathroom and decoration and interior design furniture.
With 4 workers, three assemblers and an administrative assistant.
Ofislor Siglo XXI SL is dedicated to the purchase of furniture and office accessories that has, in addition to its three partners, four employees including an engineer in design, an administrative, a commercial and a carpentry officer.
Colapso S Beer Coop.
is a company dedicated to the elaboration of craft beer that started its steps by installing itself in the La Torrecilla Business Incubator and that in the short / medium term it foresees the hiring of a commercial and a factory technician.
The jury has had representatives of Chamber of Commerce, Ceclor and Guadalentín Emprende, representatives of UGT and Workers Commissions and technicians of the Department of Employment.
