The PSOE has rejected the modification of the regulatory ordinance for the occupation of public spaces with terraces that has raised the Popular Party, and that has been approved this morning in the Plenary Session of the City of Lorca.
Mateos has ensured that "our city needs life, our bars and restaurants help, no more obstacles or more land on top that hinders its development".
In this sense, Mateos has reiterated its commitment to approve, from the municipal government, a much more flexible ordinance, which takes into account the reality of our city, and above all, adapted to the solutions that a hospitality sector needs, too punished during the last years in Lorca. "All this, he adds, without neglecting the neighborhood break, which of course" must be reconciled. "This is included in the SOL project, with a solution for Lorca, which the socialists have prepared.
The socialist candidate says that the proposal of the PP "falls short, it does not contemplate the reality of our city, and a hotel sector fundamental for the economic development of our city, in need of solutions."
