The candidate for Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has called for a "face to face" debate with the popular candidate Fulgencio Gil Jódar.
"We believe it is healthy, interesting and highly recommended that Lorca have the opportunity to hear ideas and projects from different political parties."
Mateos has anticipated that the PSOE is in contact with groups and media that plan to organize several electoral debates with all the formations, which will be announced in the near future, and in which he assures "of course we will be".
"But we want to go one step further, so we ask for this face-to-face among those who, without the intention of excluding any training, we have already seen the most voted formations, and therefore, with more possibilities to occupy the Mayor of Lorca" .
"We propose a face-to-face debate, open to the media and neighbors of Lorca, and we do so with the intention that we can face our political projects, the electoral programs with which we present all the political formations."
"A debate away from the tension, the personal confrontation, with the aim of opposing both projects, so that Lorca have a vision of what we bring both candidates to Mayors."
"From the humility and responsibility of a job well done", Mateos has reiterated that he is not afraid to debate, and therefore "we take the step, we request this face to face and we hope that the Popular Party candidate has no problem accepting this offering".

"A project for which, as you know, we have invested these 4 years of work, covering the entire municipal area, which makes it a realistic, sensible project that puts on the table the solutions that our University needs, our Historic Center, the problem of parking, both in the city and in the hospital, public transport, the lack of initiatives for young people, or the abandonment of our districts ".
