Antonio Meca, candidate for mayor of Lorca for the political formation Citizen, has presented today to the first five candidates, since on May 30 was published in the BORM the proclamation of the candidates for the upcoming municipal elections on May 26 .
Mecca explains that in the list of candidates for Citizenship "there are all kinds of professionals: transport self-employed workers, traders, teachers, teachers, lawyers, nurses, musicians, nursing assistants, banks, farmers, administrative staff, pharmacy assistants, pensioners ... of different areas of the municipal district: San José, La Torrecilla, downtown area, Virgen de las Huertas, La Viña, Purias, El Barrio, San Diego or Rio "
The professional and institutional career of Antonio Meca is already known, so Meca explains that "I would like you to know part of the rest of the candidates".
Number 2 is Mercedes Valera, from Madrid and settled in Lorca since 2000. She is a senior music teacher and during this term she has worked at the municipal institution.
The number 3 corresponds to Juan Navarro, is from Lorca and his professional career is linked to the management and direction of companies.
He is also the general secretary of Ciudalor since its founding in 2010.
In the position 4 of the candidacy is Pedro Daniel Gª Coronel, linked to the world of commerce for more than 30 years, in the emblematic Musicpop and Carlín, a well-known shop in the center of the city.
The fifth candidate is Mª Carmen Merlos, is Lorca, auxiliary technician of nursing and technician in social integration.
Worker since the age of 16, during the last 12 years she has belonged to the Hemodialysis Center of Lorca.
Mecca adds that "we are all united by the same motivation: the defense of Lorca, the struggle for equal treatment of the neighbors wherever they live, our ongoing struggle against corruption, the improvement of municipal administration and a long list of that we will inform in our presentation of the program, without party slogans, since Ciudalor is an independent and local party, which will allow us to work for and for Lorca as always, without fear and without rest: with free hands, with the clean hands".
