The City Council adapts the urban transport service to the demand of users by modifying schedules, expanding services and creating new bonds (10/05/2019)

In addition, line 6 allows users to move quickly, comfortably and free of charge to users of the Rafael Méndez Hospital from the Francisco Artés Carrasco stadium car park. This service is available to users free of charge every working day, from Monday to Friday. Friday, between 7:45 and 3:00 p.m.

The City of Lorca reported this morning that from next Monday, May 13 will adapt the urban transport service to the demand of users, since the City Council has the purpose of providing Lorca with a transport service urban according to the needs of our city and that is easy, effective and fast.

After the different requests that we have had from the citizens from the Lorca Consistory, we have decided to modify the route and the schedule of some of the urban transport lines, as well as to launch new bonds that adjust to the needs and benefit the citizens. users use the bus daily.

In this sense, the main changes that will be made in the urban transport lines from May 13 are:

Retiree cards can be used on all lines.

Previously they were only valid in line 1 (Apolonia-Hospital) and in line 3 (Ovalo-Campillo).

Line 2 (Apolonia - Parque Almenara Shopping Center) will have a second bus on Wednesday afternoons, on Fridays, on Saturdays and on holidays that the establishment will open, since during these days the shopping center has a greater influx of people.

The frequency of bus passage will be every half hour.

Line 5 (Casco Histórico) modifies its route and joins the 6 (Oval-Castle), so it will run through the street Santiago, Villaescusa, Juan de Toledo, Carril de Caldereros and Castillo.

In addition, the schedules have been changed to adapt them better to the activities that take place in the Fortaleza del Sol.

Line 7 (Oval Tercia) and line 9 (Oval-Marchena) are unified, extending the route and making the outward journey through the hamlet of Tercia and the return by Marchena.

In addition, it will provide daily service (Monday to Friday).

Lines 8 and 10 (districts of Rio and Cazalla) go on to provide daily service, from Monday to Friday, in the morning.

Previously they only did it two days a week.

Line 6 (Artés Carrasco Hospital Rafael Méndez) modifies its schedule, going from 7: 30-15: 30 hours to 7: 45-15: 00 hours.

The first route of line 10 (Óvalo-Polígono de Saprelorca) starts at 7 am from the Apolonia neighborhood.

Line 3 (Oval Campillo) goes on to perform 9 services and line 4 (Óvalo Santa Quiteria) 5.

New packages are launched such as: Full bonus, Special large family bonus, Unemployed bonus and Disabled bonus.

With this new modification the urban transport lines would become 10 and would be so: line 1 (Apolonia Hospital Rafael Méndez), line 2 (Apolonia Mall Almenara Park), line 3 (Oval Campillo), line 4 (Oval Santa Quiteria), line 5 (Óvalo Castillo / Casco Histórico), line 6 (Parking Francisco Artés Carrasco Stadium Rafael Méndez Hospital), line 7 (Oval Tercia / Marchena), line 8 (Óvalo Río), line 9 (Óvalo Cazalla) and line 10 (Polygon oval of Saprelorca).

The amount of fees will remain the same and bonds 10, 30 and 50 may be purchased by users;

the students bonus (no travel limit for 20 euros per month);

the monthly bonus (no travel limit for 30 euros per month);

the base sports bonus (20 trips for 10 euros per month);

the full bonus (no travel limit for 45 euros per month);

the large family bonus (40 trips for 10 euros per month);

the unemployed bonus (40 trips for 10 euros per month);

the pensioner-pensioner voucher and the disabled voucher, these last two free.

Line 6 (Francisco Artés Carrasco Stadium Parking Rafael Méndez Hospital)

It should be remembered that line 6 allows users to move quickly, comfortably and free of charge to users of the Rafael Méndez Hospital from the parking lot of the Francisco Artés Carrasco stadium. This service is available to users free of charge every working day, Monday to Friday, between 7:45 and 3:00 p.m.

The routes are every 15 minutes maximum, allowing users to park at zero cost in the large parking lot of the football field and move comfortably and quickly to the entrance of the Hospital.

In addition, the bus also makes a stop at the door of External Consultations and at the current bus stop.
