The manager of the company Campo de Lorca, Juan Marín Bravo, has delivered to the Jesus Abandoned Foundation the donation of four pallets of cleaning, socio-sanitary and hygienic products, all destined to the Welcome Center, as well as to the flats and houses where reside people served by this entity.
As the president of the Jesus Abandoned Foundation, José Moreno, points out, "we thank the solidarity gesture of the Campo de Lorca company for donating all these products, which are very useful and are more than welcome."
Moreno explains that "we currently have 248 places of accommodation", divided into 186 places in the Welcome Center, 36 in housing with support and the 'Housing First' program (housing, first) and 26 more in the social pension that we manage
"With a very high average occupation all year round, around 90 percent, the maintenance and cleaning of all these reception spaces for people in need requires many resources," which are partly covered by donations such as the one made by this company.
Campo de Lorca, active since 1989 and based in the municipalities of Lorca and Totana, is focused on the production, export and marketing of broccoli, artichoke, cauliflower, romanesco green cabbage or Kale-type kale.
The Jesus Abandoned Foundation, which develops its work in the Region of Murcia together with the Hospitaller Order of San Juan de Dios, offers comprehensive care that includes everything from the prevention and satisfaction of basic needs to access to a home or a job.
