The improvement of the City Council accounts obtained by the Popular Party will allow municipal taxes to be lowered in a general way during the next years (17/05/2019)

• The PP, after getting that Lorca is one of the municipalities with lower fiscal pressure in the Region of Murcia, is marked as a target new drops of the IBI, IAE and seal of the car.

The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has advanced that now that we have managed to clean up the municipal accounts and avoided bankruptcy because of so many debts and traps left by the PSOE, we have the ability to deepen the policy of aid to the Lorca families, and the best way to do it is to continue lowering taxes.

The improvement of the municipal accounts during the last years leaves us really positive data, like the reduction of the debt from 105.4 million in 2007 to 38.9 today, an improvement of 66 million, to which we must add the elimination of the deficit, the closing of the municipal accounts with surplus and the elimination of the adjustment plan, which now allows greater financial autonomy of the Consistory.

All this has been achieved, in addition, having to deal with blows as hard as those derived from the earthquakes of 2011, the floods of 2012 and the urban planning agreements approved by the PSOE alone and forcing Lorca to have to be paying up to at least another 6 years, which subtracts 3.4 million of the municipal budget that we could be using already precisely in what we want: lower taxes.

While others punish families and empty our pockets with multimillion-dollar tax rises and firing the price of diesel, from the City of Lorca we will continue to lower taxes, fees and public prices.

We are fully aware that the best economic policy that can be made by families, adjusting their budgets to reach the end of the month, so our goal is to continue lowering taxes and reducing the tax burden.

To date we have achieved that Lorca is one of the municipalities in the region with the lowest fiscal pressure, and we will continue working to lower them further.

In particular, we will work on reducing the IBI, adding new reductions to those we have already made over the years.

And we will also apply new measures to reduce the amount of the stamp of the car and the IAE.

Where the taxpayers' money is best is in their own pockets, and under that premise we will continue to move forward.

One of the tools that has helped us most during these years to reduce the tax burden has been the Local Tax Agency (ATL), a municipal entity that has allowed the Lorca to enter 28 million euros from companies and taxpayers who, even Having ample economic capacity to do it, they were not fulfilling the Lorca.

It is unacceptable that while the immense majority complies, striving to contribute, there are some who act in an unsupportive and uncivil manner with their own neighbors.

The ATL, created in 2014 by the Popular Party, has managed to recover for Lorca these 28 million, an amount accrued by taxpayers who, despite having economic solvency, had become almost perpetual defaulters.

We are talking about rescuing economic resources for Lorca to protect the rights of taxpayers and prevent tax fraud, a work that is being developed by the Popular Party in front of the Municipal Council to attack the big fraud bags.

From the Popular Party we have established particularized formulas for the payment of taxes, such as the Personalized Tax Plan, as well as payment facilities (fractioning of debt, deferment thereof, ...), which have benefited thousands of citizens.

The Local Tax Agency protects the rights of Lorca, since what can not be is to enjoy public services without contributing to citizens.

We are talking about a basic principle of solidarity among Lorca.
