In the children's category, the gymnasts of the Club Gymnos Ciudad del Sol rose with bronze, while in the junior category they won the gold medal of this World Championship of Aesthetic Gymnastics in which 178 teams from 28 countries participated.
This small great club has managed in record time to be a national reference in aesthetics, especially the mixed junior team that risked presenting a choreography within the short program.
They started the Aesthetics season with three teams, two of which, 10-12 mixed and junior mixed short program, managed to qualify among the best in Spain in their category, and therefore, they got the direct pass to the World Cup held in Cartagena. last week.
The athletes train on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Las Alamedas pavilion and on Fridays and Saturdays in La Hoya, in a sport that demands a great level of sacrifice for the gymnasts.
Now, after winning Junior World Champions mixed short program, and third world 10-12 mixed, his next goal is rhythmic.
It should be noted that this club already has gymnasts competing in the regional school league, and one of its athletes has participated in the national base that was played last month.
