Ifelor, the fairs and congress center, "has to be at full capacity before the end of the year".
He said this morning the number 2 of Somos Region to the local elections, Antonio Ibarra, who has ensured that his training "aims to become a dynamic element of the economy of Lorca."
The politician has indicated that "Ifelor will host more than thirty competitions among which we will include the recovery of Expoflor, the Student Lounge, the Fair of the second-hand vehicle, the Wedding Salon and the Real Estate Exhibition".
But they also have the firm intention to promote new events, among which "a fruit and vegetable fair, a fair of wines, gastronomy, low prices ... and even more than thirty", he explained.
The intention is that the fairgrounds and congresses have an extensive calendar of celebrations throughout the year to boost the economy of the city.
"With an active fairground practically the 365 days of the year we will benefit to the hospitality industry, the commerce ... We intend to turn the city into a reference as far as fairs are concerned", has told Antonio Ibarra.
And he demanded the completion of the enclosure.
"We can not have facilities, those of the auditorium, still unfinished, we need that space, as well as the different conference rooms, to set up a calendar and give the necessary promotion so that companies and other organizations can develop their events and events in those facilities. "
