The City Council and the Physical Education and Sports Forum are organizing the III edition of the "Creasport" Contest, whose works can be presented until September 30 (12/06/2019)

The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, the president of the Forum of Physical Education and Sports of Lorca, Juan Ortuño, and the organizer of the Competition of Creative Arts, Physical Activity and Sport, Felio Ruiz, presented this morning the 3rd edition of the creative event "CREASPORT".

Fulgencio Gil recalled that "three years ago the idea of ​​launching this event that was very well received both nationally and internationally came up, so we soon realized the need to consolidate this contest that allows two worlds so dynamic in our municipality as they are the culture and the sport return to go of the hand a year more thanks to this initiative ".

The objective of this contest, convened by the FORUM of Physical Education and Sports of Lorca in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Lorca, is to offer a channel of communication between the worlds of art and physical activity, so close by its plastic and expressive character.

The contest is called in the categories of short films, short stories and digital photography.

The works may be submitted until September 30.

For his part, Felio Ruiz, organizer of CREASPORT has stressed that this event, pursue, for the third consecutive year, "open a window to artistic expression collecting the beauty of sporting activities, their stories, their moments of glory or failure, his educational wealth ".

All those who wish to participate, of any nationality or residence, may participate.

The stories will be written in prose and in Spanish, be original and unpublished and have not been previously awarded in any other contest.

The works must be presented, exclusively, by email at creasportrelato@gmail.com.

The prize will consist of 1,000 euros and the contest's trophy.

The jury will be composed of professionals from the world of literature and physical-sporting activity, who may declare the award void if they consider that the submitted works do not have the necessary quality, which will mainly value creativity, originality, literary quality and Content of the story adjusted to the purpose of this call.

The decision of the jury will be announced during the month of October 2019, likewise, the awards ceremony will be held in November 2019.

In the modality of digital photography, this year the best photograph will be awarded, which must have been presented through the email creasportfoto@gmail.com, being the prize of 1,000 euros.

And in the modality of short film there will be a 'Free Prize' of 1,000 euros and the contest's trophy, with four finalists being chosen.

There will also be a 'Premio DXT Lorca' of 200 euros and a diploma for Lorca filmmakers or residents in Lorca, must be at work must be shot at least 60% in the city;

and another 'Special Audience Award' valued at 200 euros and a diploma.

Those attending the screenings will choose this prize among all the selected works.

It should be noted that in the edition of last year participated in photography a total of 35 collections (3-5 photos) of Spain, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru, among others.

In Stories, 140 papers were received from countries such as Bolivia, Peru, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Uganda, Venezuela, and Israel.

And in the short films section 28 works arrived from Spain, Russia, Argentina, Lithuania, or France.

In 2018, in the modality of sports photography, the winner was the collection entitled "Sombras", by Ismael Ibáñez Ruiz, from Burgos.

In literary stories, he won the prize "El atrapasueños", by María Victoria Trigo Bello, from Zaragoza.

And the short film "VIACRUXIS", by Ignasi López was the winner of its category.
