Fulgencio Gil establishes as priorities of the political action of the PP in the Town Hall the bonus of 50% of the IBI and to finish the projected works (21/06/2019)

The Spokesman of the Popular Municipal Group in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has advanced this morning that the PP work team will develop its activity in the Municipal Council putting the general interests of Lorca to any other issue.

We are already working from the first moment according to our institutional position as the electoral list that won the municipal elections, with a great responsibility and with the maximum interest of promoting all the projects that we have in our electoral program.

Our political action will continue based on direct and continuous contact with all citizens, meeting the requests of the groups of the municipality, raising their demands and proposals, always for the benefit of Lorca.

We will continue working side by side with the neighbors, making us echo of the needs that arise in each corner of the municipality.

Fulgencio Gil has indicated that permanent proposals based on the electoral program backed by the majority of Lorca will be put on the table.

We will maintain a responsible line of work, with loyalty and collaboration with all the municipal groups.

In the internal management of the Municipal Consistory, when we are needed, we will be, putting Lorca above any other question.

The leader of the Popular Party has stressed that our priorities in municipal management are to get a 50% bonus on the Real Estate Tax (IBI) for all those affected by the 2011 earthquakes. In fact, we must remember that our Parliamentary Group in the Congress of Deputies has already presented several initiatives in this regard, which remain unprocessed, and we hope that this uncertainty will be resolved once and for all.

We continue to consider that the ideal is that this measure and the agreement with the 3 million euros for investments in districts be approved as soon as possible by Decree Law.

Fulgencio Gil has stressed that the most important projects are the unblocking of the construction of the Palace of Justice, as well as the solution to the overpasses and walls in the railway line as it passes through Villaespesa, next to the burying of the railway to its I pass through the urban area.

The Popular Spokesperson has said that one of the major concerns that exist at the moment, especially among the groups of agriculture and livestock of our entire region, is the maintenance of the Tajo-Segura transfer, given the uncertainty raised after the statements about its closure by the PSOE.

Fulgencio Gil has stressed that from the Popular Party we are reaching out to get Lorca to solve these issues, as well as to complete the investments that we have underway and that benefit multiple enclaves of the municipality, as is the case, for example, of the renovation integral of the District of San Antonio, the construction of a lower step in that area to eliminate the current knot of traffic, the culmination of the sections of the central round, Jerónimo Santa Fe, among others.

On the distribution of the work tasks in the City Hall, Fulgencio Gil will be the Spokesman of the Popular Group, coordinator of the political action in the Town Hall and will personally take matters related to Holy Week and Strategic Projects.

Ángel Meca will be Deputy Spokesperson and will be responsible for the areas of Development and Infrastructure, Pedanías, Rural Development, Agriculture, Livestock, Water and Parks and Gardens.

Rosa María Medina works on Contracting, Open Government, Transparency, Housing and Urban Planning.

María Belén Pérez will be in charge of the Internal Regime, Personal, Heritage, Statistics, Citizen Security, Mobility and Earthquake Management.

Juan Francisco Martínez works with Economy, Finance, Municipal Companies and the Information Society.
